Kyosho IFW35 Short Bell Guide Washer Set

This is the short bell guide washer set for Kyosho's Inferno nitro clutch assembly.

These shims and washers set the end play of the clutch bell on the pilot shaft. That is a genuinely critical adjustment rather than a detail. Too little end play and the bell binds against the engine backplate, which generates heat and drags on the drivetrain constantly. Too much and the bell wanders on the shaft, which throws off gear mesh with the spur and lets the clutch shoes contact the bell unevenly.

Because engines vary and wear changes the numbers, getting this right means having a range of thicknesses on hand rather than a single spacer. The set includes 0.2mm shims and 0.5mm washers along with a collet spacer, mounting screw and pilot shaft end cap, so you can build the exact stack your engine needs.

Most builders aim for somewhere around three to five tenths of a millimetre of end play. This is the short version; a long bell guide variant exists separately. Fitment covers the Inferno MP9 and its TKI variants, MP10, MP10T and ST-RR Evo.
