Kyosho IFW422 Cap C-Universal Swing Shaft 110mm MP9

Kyosho IFW422 is a complete cap C-universal swing shaft measuring 110mm, supplied as one piece. It is a full assembled driveshaft, not a cap or a cover — cap C-universal is the name of Kyosho's joint design at the inner end.

The swing shaft carries drive from the differential out to the wheel while the suspension moves through its travel, so it takes both torque and constant angle change. A shaft that has twisted, or a joint that has developed play, shows up as a clunk on power application and uneven drive off the corner.

Kyosho lists 14 compatible kits spanning the Inferno MP9e, MP9, MP9 TKI2, MP9 TKI3 and the MP9 TKI4 Readyset. The 110mm length is the rear or centre position on MP9-family cars.
