An aluminum long range steering servo horn for 23 tooth splines, fitting Sanwa, KO Propo and JR servos.

The servo horn converts the servo's rotation into the push and pull that moves your steering linkage, and its length sets how much linkage travel you get for a given amount of servo rotation. A longer horn produces more total steering throw and a faster steering response for the same servo movement. This one is 2mm longer than the standard horn, which is a meaningful increase in throw on a 1/8 scale car.

Aluminum matters here because the horn sits at the very start of the steering chain, so any flex in it is multiplied through everything downstream. A plastic horn deflects under the loads a high-torque 1/8 servo generates, which makes steering feel soft and imprecise off centre. Aluminum removes that, and it will not strip its spline the way a worn plastic horn eventually does.

It measures 30.5mm long by 2.5mm thick and includes a clamping screw. Fitment covers the Inferno MP9, MP10 and ST-RR series. Note that Kyosho now supplies this as IFW449B.
