Hard specification front lower suspension shaft screws for Kyosho's Inferno MP9 and MP10, measuring 3 x 42.8mm.

These are the threaded hinge pins the front lower suspension arms pivot on. They carry every load the front suspension generates through a small diameter, and they have to stay perfectly straight to work. A bent pin makes the arm bind so it no longer moves freely through its travel, and the symptoms mislead: the suspension feels stiff, damping goes inconsistent, and most people chase the problem through shocks and springs before thinking to check the pins.

The hard specification addresses exactly that failure mode. A harder pin resists the bending loads that a front-end impact delivers, which on a 1/8 buggy hitting a pipe or a rut at speed are substantial. Fewer bent pins means fewer runs spent chasing a handling problem that is actually a bent 3mm rod.

Being threaded rather than plain, these screw into the suspension holder rather than relying on a retaining clip, which is a more secure arrangement. Kyosho lists them as an option part specified for use alongside the optional hard front suspension arms. Fitment covers the MP9 TKI4, MP10 range, MP10T, MP10e and MP9e Evo. V2.
