Kyosho IG001-1B Plastic Shock Parts Set Inferno GT

This is the plastic shock parts set for Kyosho's Inferno GT and DBX platforms, covering the molded components inside and around an oil shock in a single package.

Rebuilding a shock properly means replacing more than the oil. The plastic parts are what actually control how the shock behaves and how well it seals: the shock body itself, the piston that meters oil flow, the collar that sets spring preload and ride height, and the ball ends that connect the shock to the arm and tower. All of them wear. A scored body will not seal against the O-rings, a worn piston changes damping as its edges round off, and a loose ball end introduces play that shows up as inconsistent handling.

Buying them together as a set is considerably cheaper and less fiddly than sourcing each piece individually mid-rebuild.

Dealers list the contents as two shock bodies, two upper ball end caps, two lower ball ends, two pistons and two lower collars. Kyosho lists fitment for the Inferno GT2 Race Spec and GT2 VE Race Spec kits and the Nitro Tracker, and dealers extend it to the Inferno GT, DBX, DRX, DST and Rock Force 2.2. This part supersedes the earlier IG001-1.
