Kyosho IG104 Body Mount Set Inferno GT

This is the body mount set for Kyosho's Inferno GT platform.

The body mounts hold the shell to the chassis. On the Inferno GT, which runs a full-bodied touring style shell rather than a buggy body, the mounts also determine how the body sits over the wheels and how well the panel gaps line up. A shell mounted crooked or at the wrong height looks wrong and, more practically, can rub on the tires at full suspension compression.

They take real load too. The body is large, it catches air at speed, and every impact and rollover loads the mounting points directly. Cracked mounts are a common casualty, and a broken one usually means the body sitting loose for the rest of the run.
