Kyosho IS004B Body Mount Set Inferno ST

This is the body mount set for Kyosho's Inferno ST truggy range.

The body mounts are the posts the body shell sits on and is pinned to. On a 1/8 scale truggy they do more work than they look like they do, because the body is large, it catches a lot of air at speed, and every rollover and cartwheel loads the mounts directly. They are among the parts most likely to snap in a heavy crash, and a broken mount usually means the body flapping loose for the rest of the run.

Mount height and position also determine how the body sits on the chassis. A shell mounted too high or sitting crooked changes airflow over it, and a body that is not properly located can rub on the tires at full suspension compression.

This is the B revision, superseding the original IS004. Dealers note the revised rear mounts suit the later ISB101 body, so if you are running that shell this is the version you want.
