This is the front lower suspension arm for Kyosho's Inferno ST-RR Evo truggy.

The front lower arm is the main structural link between the chassis and the front wheel. It carries every cornering, braking and landing load the car generates, and its geometry sets the front roll centre and how camber changes through the suspension's travel. On a truggy those loads are higher than on a buggy, because the car is heavier and the tires are larger.

It is also the most commonly broken component on any car driven hard, because it is the first thing to take the load in a wheel-first impact. That is partly by design: an arm is cheaper and quicker to replace than the bulkhead or chassis it protects.

Even when an arm survives an impact it can be left slightly bent or stressed, and a distorted arm changes geometry on that corner only, so the car pulls under braking and turns differently left versus right.

The C designation is Kyosho's third revision, superseding both IS005 and IS005B. Kyosho lists it for the Inferno NEO ST Race Spec and ST-RR, with dealers adding the Psycho Kruiser.
