Kyosho LA236-10B 1.0mm Stabilizer Bar Lazer ZX-5

This is the 1.0mm stabilizer bar for the Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 and TF-5, and it mounts at either the front or the rear of the car.

A stabilizer bar, also called an anti-roll or sway bar, links the left and right suspension arms so that when one side compresses in a corner the bar resists the chassis rolling onto that side. A thinner bar allows more body roll and lets weight transfer across the axle gradually rather than abruptly, which builds mechanical grip.

At 1.0mm this is the thinnest and softest bar in the LA236 range. It is the one to fit when the track is loose, dusty, rutted or freshly watered and the car needs the suspension free to follow the surface and find traction, rather than being held flat. Running a soft bar at one end while running a stiffer bar at the other is also a common way to shift the car's balance without touching springs or oil.

The ZX-5 ships with a 1.2mm rear bar as standard, so this is an optional tuning part. One bar is supplied.
