Kyosho LA236-11B 1.1mm Stabilizer Bar Lazer ZX-5

This is the 1.1mm stabilizer bar for the Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 and TF-5, and it mounts at either the front or the rear of the car.

A stabilizer bar, also called an anti-roll or sway bar, links the left and right suspension arms so that when one side compresses in a corner the bar resists the chassis rolling onto that side. A thinner bar allows more body roll and lets weight transfer across the axle gradually rather than abruptly, which builds mechanical grip where the surface will not support a stiff setup.

At 1.1mm this sits at the soft end of the LA236 range, one step up from the softest 1.0mm bar. It suits loose, dusty or rutted tracks, and it is a useful setting when the car has enough overall traction that the 1.0mm bar leaves it feeling lazy on turn-in but the 1.2mm stock bar is still too much.

The ZX-5 ships with a 1.2mm rear bar as standard, so this is an optional tuning part rather than a stock replacement. One bar is supplied, and the same bar fits front or rear.
