Kyosho LA236-13B 1.3mm Stabilizer Bar Lazer ZX-5

This is the 1.3mm stabilizer bar for the Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 and TF-5, and it can be fitted at either the front or the rear of the car.

A stabilizer bar, also called an anti-roll or sway bar, links the left and right suspension arms so that when one side compresses in a corner the bar resists the chassis rolling onto that side. Going thicker cuts body roll and lets you carry more speed through a corner; going thinner lets the chassis lean more and builds mechanical grip on surfaces that need it.

At 1.3mm this sits one step below the stiffest bar in the LA236 range, which makes it a practical middle setting: enough roll control to keep the car responsive on a groomed medium-to-high traction track, without the abrupt weight transfer a 1.5mm bar produces when conditions get rough.

The ZX-5 ships with a 1.2mm rear bar as standard, so this is an optional tuning part. One bar is supplied and it fits front or rear.
