Kyosho SC217 Diff Gasket & Screw Set Scorpion 2014

Kyosho SC217 supplies the differential gaskets and screws for the Scorpion 2014 — the parts that close the gear diff case up and keep the fluid or grease inside it.

The gasket is what stops diff oil weeping past the case halves. Once it has been compressed a few times it stops sealing properly, and a diff that leaks slowly loses the exact fluid weight you set it to. That is why a car can feel right one weekend and loose the next with nothing else changed. The screws are included because diff case screws are small, easy to lose on the bench and easy to strip.

Kyosho lists this as a spare part for the Scorpion 2014. Note that it is discontinued at Kyosho, with SC217B referenced as the successor.
