Kyosho SC222-01 Front Shock Shaft 2pcs Scorpion 2014

Kyosho SC222-01 is a pair of front shock shafts for the Scorpion 2014. The shaft is the polished rod that runs through the shock's seal and carries the piston up and down inside the body.

Shock shafts are a wear item on a buggy. A bent shaft binds in the seal and kills damping on that corner, and a shaft scored by grit will chew through fresh seals in a session or two. Either fault is easy to miss on the bench and obvious on the track as a corner that packs down or refuses to rebound.

Fitting a new pair during a shock rebuild means the seals you just paid for actually last. Kyosho lists these for the Scorpion 2014, Beetle 2014 and Tomahawk, which share the same front shock.
