Kyosho SIL0600-8 Silicone Shock Oil #600 80cc

Kyosho SIL0600-8 is a #600 weight silicone shock oil in an 80cc bottle. The oil is what creates damping in the first place: the piston has to force fluid through its holes on every stroke, and the thicker the fluid, the more the shock resists moving.

#600 is a heavy weight in Kyosho's range. It suits big-jump tracks and cars that need to stay composed on landings, and it is a common rear-shock choice on 1/8 scale where the weight over the back end wants controlling. Run it in the front on a bumpy track and you will feel the car skip rather than absorb.

The 80cc bottle is the larger of Kyosho's two sizes, which makes it the sensible one for a weight you rebuild with regularly.
