Kyosho SX010 Front Knuckle Bush Set Scorpion XXL

A set of four front knuckle bushes for the Kyosho Scorpion XXL.

The bushes are the inserts inside the front steering knuckle where the kingpin passes through, and they are the actual bearing surface the knuckle pivots on when the car steers. Kyosho makes them replaceable on purpose, so that when the pivot opens up you renew a cheap insert rather than the whole knuckle.

Worn bushes matter more than their size suggests. Once play develops at the front knuckle, the wheel can move under load, and that shows up as caster and camber shifting as the car brakes and corners. The practical effect is steering that feels vague turning in and a car that will not repeat a setup between runs, which is easy to blame on the servo or the shocks when the real cause is a few tenths of play in a small plastic insert.

They are cheap and worth renewing whenever the front end is apart. Four are supplied, covering both sides. This fits the 1/7 scale Scorpion XXL.
