Kyosho SX022 Rear Lower Arm Shaft Scorpion XXL

A pair of rear lower arm shafts for the Kyosho Scorpion XXL.

These are the hinge pins the rear lower suspension arms pivot on. They carry every load the rear suspension generates through a small diameter, and on a 1/7 scale buggy those loads are considerable because the car is large and heavy compared with a normal off-road machine.

They have to stay perfectly straight to work. A bent shaft makes the arm bind so it no longer moves freely through its travel, and the symptoms mislead: the suspension feels stiff, damping goes inconsistent, and most people chase the problem through shocks and springs before thinking to check the pins. They wear too, and a worn shaft lets the arm develop play, which shows up as rear toe and camber that shift under load.

Because both sides see the same duty, replacing them as a pair is the sensible approach. Two are supplied. Note that this fits the Scorpion XXL, Kyosho's 1/7 scale large buggy, and not the smaller vintage Scorpion or Turbo Scorpion.
