Kyosho SX049 Roll Cage B Scorpion XXL

This is roll cage section B for the Kyosho Scorpion XXL.

The Scorpion XXL carries an exposed tube roll cage rather than a conventional enclosed body, and that cage does real structural work. It protects the chassis, the electronics and the engine or motor when the car rolls, and on a 1/7 scale buggy a rollover carries a lot of energy. Without the cage absorbing that impact, the load goes straight into components that cost considerably more to replace.

Because it is the first thing to hit the ground, the cage is genuinely consumable. Sections crack, mounting tabs tear, and a cage kept in service after damage stops spreading load properly, so the next roll does more harm than it should.

Kyosho supplies the cage in sections rather than as a single piece, which means you replace only the part that actually broke instead of the whole assembly. This is section B, and section A and the rear section carry separate part numbers. Fitment covers the Scorpion XXL in both electric VE and nitro GP forms.
