Wheels take more abuse than most people account for. They absorb every kerb strike and hard landing on the rim edge, they carry the entire cornering load through the tire bead, and a wheel that has been cracked or knocked out of true will not let a tire seat evenly. That shows up as vibration at speed, uneven tire wear, and in the worst case a tire that unseats mid-run. On a 1/7 scale buggy the wheels are large and the forces through them are correspondingly high.

Because tires are usually glued to the rim, a damaged wheel normally means losing the tire with it, which is a good argument for keeping a spare pair on the shelf before you need them.

These are the genuine Kyosho wheels for the platform, so they match the original diameter, width, offset and hex, and the car's track width and suspension geometry stay exactly as designed. Two front wheels are supplied, tires not included. Kyosho also offers this wheel in black and black chrome.
