A pair of 24mm shock springs for Kyosho's TF027S plastic oil shock set.

Springs are the most fundamental suspension setting on any car. They carry the weight and determine how far the chassis moves for a given force, which sets ride height, how much the car dives under braking and rolls in a corner, and how much travel remains before the suspension bottoms out.

They are also a wear item in a way people underestimate. A spring repeatedly compressed to its limit takes a permanent set, losing free length and rate. When that happens the car sits lower than it should, runs out of travel sooner, and behaves differently side to side if one has sagged more than the other. Because the change is gradual it is easy to miss and easy to misdiagnose as a damping problem.

At 24mm free length these are the springs for the TF027S shock set specifically, which is a plastic oil shock with a threaded preload adjuster. Do not confuse this part with the adjuster nut for the same shock, which is a separate number. Two are supplied.
