Kyosho TFW110 Aluminum Stabilizer Holder TF-5 Stallion

This is the aluminum stabilizer holder for the Kyosho TF-5 Stallion, sold as an option part.

The stabilizer holder is what mounts the anti-roll bar to the chassis and locates its pivot points. That makes its rigidity a functional matter rather than a cosmetic one. An anti-roll bar only works by resisting twist between the two sides of the car, and if the holder that anchors it flexes, part of that resistance is absorbed before it ever reaches the suspension. The bar you fitted then behaves softer than its diameter suggests, and inconsistently so, because the flex varies with load.

Replacing a moulded holder with aluminum removes that variable, so a given bar produces the roll stiffness it is supposed to and your setup changes actually correspond to what you fitted.

It also survives the impacts that crack a plastic holder, and on a touring car a broken stabilizer mount usually means finishing the run with no anti-roll bar at all on that end.

Kyosho marks this as an option part for the TF-5 Stallion specifically rather than the base TF-5.
