Kyosho UM562 Release Spring Set Ultima RT5 RT6

The UM562 supplies two release springs for the Kyosho Ultima RT5 and RT6 stadium trucks.

These are small coil springs that provide return tension within the drivetrain assembly, and like any small spring under repeated cycling they lose free length and rate over time. When they weaken, the assembly they serve stops returning cleanly and consistently, which shows up as inconsistent behaviour rather than an outright failure. That is the kind of problem that is easy to chase in the wrong place.

Because they are inexpensive and sit inside the assembly, most racers simply replace them as a set whenever the truck is stripped for a full rebuild rather than trying to judge how much life is left in them.

These are genuine Kyosho service parts wound to the original specification, so the truck goes back together to the same baseline it left the factory with. Two springs are supplied per pack, matching the quantity used on the vehicle. Kyosho lists this part specifically for the Ultima RT5 and Ultima RT6 kits.
