Kyosho UM725 Rear Bumper Mid Motor

The Kyosho UM725 Rear Bumper is the genuine rear impact guard for the mid-motor configuration of Kyosho's 1/10 scale 2WD Ultima buggies. It mounts across the back of the chassis and takes the hits from backwards landings, tail-first slides into pipe, and the inevitable contact of close racing. Its job is to absorb that energy and spread it into the chassis rather than letting it reach the gearbox, rear bulkhead, and shock tower, which are all far more expensive to replace.

The mid-motor layout places components differently at the rear of the car, so it uses a bumper shaped specifically for that configuration rather than the rear-motor part. This installs as the direct replacement on the Ultima RB6 and RT6 in mid-motor trim, bolting on with the kit hardware. Package includes one rear bumper. A bumper is a consumable by design, so replacing a cracked one is cheap protection for the parts behind it.
