Kyosho UM729 Magic Tape 20x100mm

Kyosho UM729 is a genuine strip of hook-and-loop fastening tape measuring 20mm by 100mm, supplied as one piece. Its main job on a race chassis is holding the battery pack in place: the adhesive backing bonds to the chassis and battery, and the hook-and-loop face lets you swap packs between runs in seconds without tools while still holding firmly enough that the battery cannot shift under braking or in a crash. A pack that slides changes the car's weight balance mid-run, so a secure mount is genuinely a setup component.

The same tape is useful for mounting receivers, transponders, and speed controllers anywhere on the chassis where you want a serviceable rather than permanent fixing. This is the factory-supplied part for the Ultima RT5, RB series, and SC along with the Lazer ZX-5, and it works on any vehicle. Package includes one 20x100mm strip. Clean the surface with alcohol before applying for a bond that lasts.
