Kyosho UMW715 Carbon Composite Rear Shock Stay RB6

This is Kyosho's carbon composite rear shock stay for the Ultima RB6, an optional upgrade over the stay supplied in the kit.

Carbon composite is noticeably more rigid than standard molded plastic, and on a shock tower that rigidity matters. The stay is the anchor point for the top of both rear shocks, so any flex in it bleeds off damping input before it reaches the chassis. A stiffer stay makes the rear suspension respond more directly and more consistently, particularly on high-grip tracks and heavy landings where a flexing tower lets the shocks work at slightly different rates side to side. The added stiffness also improves durability in the crashes that typically crack a rear tower.

Mounting holes match the stock stay exactly, so it bolts on with your existing hardware and your current shock positions and rear camber settings carry over unchanged. You can fit it and go without re-baselining the car. This stay is for the rear-motor RB6 layout; the mid-motor configuration uses a different part, so check how your buggy is built before ordering.
