Kyosho VZH001W 24mm 6-Spoke Wheel White

A pair of 24mm 6-spoke wheels in white for Kyosho's 1/10 touring car platforms.

24mm is the standard touring car wheel width, so these fit the class rather than one specific car. What varies between wheels is stiffness and offset, and both matter. A wheel that flexes under cornering load lets the tire roll over on itself, which makes the car feel vague and delayed through long corners, while offset sets track width and therefore how much the car leans and how quickly it transfers weight.

Wheels are consumables on a touring car too, though the failure mode differs from off-road. Kerb strikes crack them, and a wheel knocked out of true will not let a tire seat evenly, which shows as vibration at speed and uneven wear. Because touring car tires are glued to the rim, a damaged wheel usually costs you the tire with it.

Kyosho lists these as an option wheel for the V-One S range and the FW-05, with dealers extending fitment to the TF-5, TF-5 Stallion and EP Fazer. Two are supplied, tires not included. Also available in black.
