Kyosho W5181-05 Shock Seal O-Ring M (4)

Kyosho W5181-05 is a genuine four-pack of M-size shock seal o-rings for Kyosho's 1/10 scale dampers. These o-rings live in the lower shock cartridge, wrapping the shock shaft to seal the oil chamber. Everything about how a shock feels passes through them: a fresh o-ring gives a smooth, low-stiction stroke and a leak-free seal, while a hardened or scored one adds friction, weeps oil, and makes damping inconsistent from the first lap to the last.

Because they are a pure wear item, seals should be replaced at every shock rebuild rather than reused, and running a shaft with a worn o-ring accelerates wear on the shaft itself. These install as direct factory replacements in the standard shock cartridges, fitting the Ultima RT5, RT6, RB5, RB6, SC, and SC6 along with the Lazer ZX-5 and ZX6 and later cars like the RB7 and ZX7.
