Kyosho W5199-75 55mm Front Spring #75 Ultima RT5

The W5199-75 is a pair of front suspension springs for Kyosho's Ultima 2WD platforms, rated #75 with a 55mm free length. Spring rate is one of the fastest ways to change how a buggy or short course truck behaves on corner entry and exit, and this #75 rating sits at the firmer end of the W5199 front series.

A stiffer front spring reduces nose dive under braking, keeps the chassis flatter through the middle of a corner, and helps the front end stay predictable on high-grip clay and groomed indoor tracks. Softer rates in the same series suit rough or low-traction surfaces where you want the front tires to load up and find bite.

Fitment covers the Ultima RT5 stadium truck, the Ultima SC and SC-R short course trucks, and the Ultima DB. Two springs are included, enough to do both front shocks in one pack. These are wound to the same dimensions as the springs supplied in the kit, so they drop straight onto the stock front shock bodies with no other parts required. This is a tuning change, not a modification.
