Kyosho XGS003 is a genuine pair of medium rate front shock springs for Kyosho's big bore dampers. These short S-size springs come from Kyosho's X-Gear program, where springs are wound and matched for rate consistency so both front corners compress and rebound identically. Medium is the middle of Kyosho's rate ladder and the natural baseline to start from: it balances front grip against chassis roll, giving predictable steering across a wide range of track conditions before you commit to a softer or stiffer direction.

They install as a direct-fit tuning option on Kyosho 1/10 buggies equipped with big bore front shocks, covering the Ultima RB5 and RB6 and the Lazer ZX-5 series, replacing the kit springs with no modification needed. Because the whole XGS range shares published rate steps, running the medium spring as your reference makes every later change easy to log and repeat.
