The gauges specified for item 22120 are only recommendations; you can use the smaller tree in 0 gauge or place larger illuminated trees on an N-gauge town square. It connects to the luminous-flux output of a standard 16 V model railway transformer for DC or AC, or runs from a 12 V plug-in supply (500 mA, AC/DC) or a 9 V battery. Note: the cables carry a non-conductive copper-tone coating that must be removed at the ends before the tree will light.
