The Noch 2430 is a double-track, straight tunnel for HO scale (1:87) model railways, measuring 11-13/16 x 11 x 6-11/16 in. (30 x 28 x 17 cm). Molded in lightweight, durable hard foam, it forms a wide self-supporting arch that spans two parallel straight tracks, ideal for busy mainline scenes. The extra width of item 2430 lets a double-track route disappear convincingly into a scenic hillside.
Built to drop over existing straight double track, the Noch 2430 provides a ready tunnel mouth and body to blend into surrounding terrain. Set it against an embankment or backdrop, then finish it with Noch grass mats, scatter, rock and foliage so it becomes part of the landscape. The rigid hard-foam construction stays light and easy to position while you develop the scenery around both tracks.
