Skip the hardest part of getting started and build your own layout with the Noch 53600 easy TRACK Railway Route Kit 'Karlsberg'. easy TRACK reinvents layout building by taking the time-consuming, fiddly work of track planning off your hands: the trackbed routes are already pre-cut, the supports simply snap together, and clear step-by-step instructions guide the assembly. All you add is a baseboard and track from the maker of your choice to create a custom HO layout with a footprint of 74-13/16 x 47-1/4 in. (190 x 120 cm).
The assembled Noch 53600 track layout measures about 182 x 113.5 cm and needs a minimum floor area of 190 x 120 cm, with one track power circuit built into the design. Ready-made track plans are included for Maerklin C/K track, Trix C track, Piko A track, and Roco Line with and without ballast, so you can start with your preferred system; ballasted track such as Maerklin C-Track is recommended for stability. A saw, sandpaper, screwdriver and adhesive (hot glue is suggested) are needed for assembly.
