Noch 8440 is a brown scatter material that provides an earthy ground cover for the bare soil and worn terrain of your model railroad or diorama. Supplied in a 42 g (1-1/2 oz.) bag, this fine flock is ideal for ploughed fields, dirt paths, embankments, forest floors and the exposed ground that gives a layout realistic contrast against greener areas.

Sprinkled over white glue or scenic cement, Noch 8440 bonds into a textured, natural surface that layers easily with grass and other scatter tones to build convincing transitions from bare earth to vegetation. As a scenery material it is not scale-specific, so item 8440 is suitable for all scales and works on N, TT, HO, O and G layouts and dioramas.
