Noch 9165 N Scale Fine Basalt Ballast, Dark Gray, 250 g

Model heavily used prototype track with Noch 9165 Fine Basalt Ballast in dark gray, a finely graded ballast scaled for N gauge railroads. The deep dark-gray color of item 9165 captures the look of hard-wearing basalt ballast, and its fine grain size keeps the stone convincingly in proportion at 1:160.

Supplied in a 250 g (8-13/16 oz) bag, the Noch 9165 ballast is laid along the track and secured with diluted scenic glue for a solid, realistic roadbed. N scale modelers use item 9165 to ballast mainlines, sidings, and yards, where the dark basalt tone adds contrast and depth against rails, sleepers, and surrounding scenery.
