Piko 35040 G Scale R/C Loco Receiver 3.5A w/ Pocket Remote

The Piko 35040 is a G Scale radio-control (R/C) loco receiver with pocket remote that brings in-loco wireless control to garden and large-scale trains without the need for a DCC system. Its compact design fits into many G Scale locomotives, and it offers the same operational features as the R/C analog throttle in the 35028 R/C Analog Power Set with added benefits.

The 35040 provides up to 3.5A maximum continuous power and includes two relay-type function contacts for activating functions such as a horn/whistle and bell on a separate sound unit. It is designed to be battery-powered (batteries not included) or can run from a well-filtered DC supply of 7 to 22 volts, such as track voltage, and offers up to 30m/80 feet of R/C range indoors or outdoors with the included pocket remote (CR2025 battery included). With batteries installed, it lets you run over dirty, non-powered, or even floor track. It is not recommended for decoder-equipped locomotives.
