Piko 35220 G Scale R1 Manual Switch Left, 30 Degree

The Piko 35220 is an R1 manual left-hand switch for G Scale garden railways, turning through 30 degrees off an R1 curve with a radius of 600mm (23.6 inch) and a diameter of 1200mm (47.2 inch). Each 35220 fits in the place of one G320 (320mm) straight track section, and a built-in light spring mechanism holds the rails where they are set while still letting trains pass through against the point rails without derailing, so no separate machine or manual throw is needed.

Item 35220 uses hidden jumper wires for reliable long-term electrical contact and can be converted to remote operation by adding a Piko 35271 switch machine and a switch controller. Built with 100 percent virgin brass rail in Code 332 (0.332 inch high) solid rail on ultraviolet-stabilized HDPE ties, this Piko switch is compatible with most other brands of G Scale track and is made in Germany with a compact design coordinated to the Piko G-Track geometric system.
