Piko 35223 G Scale R5 Manual Switch Right, 22.5 Degree

The Piko 35223 is an R5 manual right-hand switch for G Scale garden railways, based on an R5 curve with a radius of 1240mm (48.8 inch) and a diameter of 2480mm (97.6 inch). Each 35223 turns through 22.5 degrees plus a Piko 35216 (7.5 degree R5 curve), and fits in the space of one G320 plus G160 (320mm plus 160mm) of straight track. A built-in light spring mechanism holds the rails where they are set while letting trains pass through against the point rails without derailing.

Item 35223 uses hidden jumper wires for reliable long-term electrical contact and can be converted to remote operation by adding a Piko 35271 switch machine and a switch controller. Made with 100 percent virgin brass rail in Code 332 (0.332 inch high) solid rail on ultraviolet-stabilized HDPE ties, this compact Piko switch is coordinated to the Piko G-Track geometric system, compatible with most other brands of G Scale track, and made in Germany.
