Piko 35225 G Scale Manual Curved Switch Right, R3-R5

The Piko 35225 is a manual curved right-hand switch for G Scale garden railways, combining an R3 inner curve with a radius of 920mm (36.2 inch) and an R5 outer curve with a radius of 1240mm (48.8 inch). The inner route runs 52.5 degrees (60 degrees with the included G3 7.5 degree curve) and the outer route runs 37.5 degrees (45 degrees with the included G5 7.5 degree curve), and each curved switch includes a G3 7.5 degree curve and a G5 7.5 degree curve.

A built-in light spring mechanism holds the rails where they are set while letting trains pass through against the point rails without derailing, so no separate machine or manual throw is needed. Item 35225 uses hidden jumper wires for reliable electrical contact and can be converted to remote operation with a Piko 35271 switch machine and a switch controller. Built with 100 percent virgin brass rail in Code 332 (0.332 inch high) solid rail on ultraviolet-stabilized HDPE ties, this compact Piko switch is coordinated to the Piko G-Track geometric system and made in Germany.
