Everything needed to begin running is included with item 37100: an analog throttle rated 22V / 1.6A plus 16V DC, power clamps, a full circle of indoor and outdoor track on the R1 600mm radius (23.6 inch), track clips, and a safety-approved 120V transformer supplying 24V DC at 45 VA. The locomotive carries metal wheels and sliding pickup shoes for dependable electrical contact and a detailed cab interior with an engineer figure, while the cars ride on heavy-duty hard plastic wheels.
