Piko 38109 G Scale WP&YR Freight R/C Starter Set w/ Sound

The Piko 38109 is a G Scale White Pass & Yukon Route (WP&YR) freight starter set led by a 0-6-0T saddletank steam locomotive with directional lights. This version arrives with a great-working 5-volt smoke system and analog steam sound, plus two track magnets that trigger bell and whistle sounds as the train passes over them.

Item 38109 comes complete with a loco and two cars, an R/C controller rated 22V / 1.6A plus 16V DC for forward, reverse, speed, and stop, a pocket remote, power clamps, a full circle of indoor and outdoor R1 600mm radius (23.6 inch) track, track clips, and a safety-approved 120V transformer supplying 24V DC at 45 VA. The loco has metal wheels with sliding pickup shoes and a detailed cab with an engineer figure, and it can be upgraded to digital sound with a Piko digital steam sound kit. Built from tough weather-resistant materials in Germany, this Piko set is ready for indoor or outdoor running.
