The Piko 38123 is a festive G Scale Christmas freight starter set featuring a 2-6-0 Mini-Mogul steam locomotive and tender with directional lights, complete with analog sound and smoke. The loco uses a powerful 5-pole precision can-type motor driving the front and rear axles, a great-working 5-volt smoke system, and analog steam sound, with two track magnets to trigger bell and whistle sounds.

Item 38123 comes with the locomotive and tender plus three freight cars, a simple radio-control power system (22V / 1.6A plus 16V DC), power clamps, a full circle of indoor and outdoor R1 600mm radius (23.6 inch) track, track clips, sound-activation magnets, smoke fluid, an uncoupling wand, and a safety-approved 120V transformer supplying 24V DC at 45 VA.
