The Piko 38502 is a G Scale Blue Goose GE 25-Ton diesel-electric switching locomotive in the track-powered version. This ready-to-run model recreates the compact two-axle industrial switcher that General Electric built in large numbers for North American railroads and shortlines from the late 1930s onward.

The 38502 is driven by a powerful 5-pole precision can-type ball-bearing motor and carries numerous molded-on details along with factory-applied handrails, a coupler lift-bar, and steps. Operating white directional lighting, a realistic cab interior with space for an engineer figure, and hook-and-loop couplers ready for Kadee knuckle couplers complete the model. It has a minimum recommended radius of 600mm (23.6 inches) and is built from tough weather-resistant materials.
