Piko 38506 G Scale Clean Machine R/C Track Cleaning Loco

The Piko 38506 Clean Machine is a G Scale GE 25-Ton diesel switcher set up as a track-cleaning locomotive with R/C control. Completely powered by six AAA batteries (not included, high-capacity rechargeables recommended), the 38506 polishes rails at normal track speed using spring-loaded pads fitted with a long-lasting, highly effective mesh cleaning pad.

An included pocket remote with eight selectable R/C channels gives simple, precise control of speed, direction, and emergency stop over a range up to 80 feet (30 meters), and locos can be run independently or coupled and controlled together. The 38506 keeps the detailed GE 25-Ton body with operating directional lighting, a realistic cab interior, factory-applied handrails and steps, a 5-pole precision can-type ball-bearing motor, and hook-and-loop couplers ready for Kadee knuckle couplers. Its motor is isolated from track power and the minimum recommended radius is 600mm (23.6 inches).
