Piko 38511 G Scale US Army 25-Ton Diesel Battery R/C w/Sound

The Piko 38511 is a G Scale U.S. Army (USATC) GE 25-Ton diesel-electric locomotive that is battery-powered with built-in Piko R/C and realistic TCS digital sound. Completely powered by six AAA batteries (not included, high-capacity rechargeables recommended), it can run over any track, whether clean, dirty, or unpowered.

The included Pocket Remote controls speed and direction along with horn and bell, and eight selectable R/C channels let you run several locomotives independently or together in a consist, with a range of up to 80 feet (30 meters). Because the motor is completely isolated from track power, the 38511 runs anywhere. It is driven by a 5-pole precision can-type ball-bearing motor, carries factory-applied handrails, a coupler lift-bar, and steps, uses hook-and-loop couplers ready for Kadee knuckle couplers, and has a minimum recommended radius of 600mm (23.6 inches).
