Piko 55225 HO Scale Three Way Switch W3 15 Degrees & 15/R9

The Piko 55225 is an HO Scale three way switch from the PIKO A-Track sectional system, designated W3 with a 15 degree diverging route to each side plus the through path. A three way turnout packs the function of two ordinary switches into one location, so a single unit sends trains left, straight, or right, which is a great way to save space in station throats and staging areas. The 55225 follows the familiar A-Track geometry that allows even intricate plans to be built from a limited set of standard sections.

The 55225 uses a filigree Code 100 rail profile in high-quality nickel silver alloy for reliable conductivity, resting on aging-resistant plastic ties with a dark brown tie strip patterned after wooden thresholds. Push-together rail joiners are factory-formed for a tight fit to the rail, and the switch is compatible with most other brands of HO scale track for unlimited expansion.
