The Piko 55444 is a six-piece pack of HO Scale roadbed pieces shaped to bed a right curved switch machine into a PIKO Roadbed A-Track layout. These molded bedding parts fill in the ballast around the drive so a motorized turnout keeps the same finished, scenic look as the running track. The 55444 contains only the roadbed pieces, not the switch machine itself.

Each 55444 piece uses the range's realistic medium-gray ballast texture and semi-flexible, sound-absorbing plastic, and snaps to neighboring roadbed with tool-free connectors. The roadbed is detachable and can be cut or trimmed to suit the installation, and it is compatible with the wider PIKO roadbed system. With six pieces per pack, the 55444 covers several turnout drives on a growing layout.
