Preiser 31180 HO Mercedes LA 1924 Simon Snorkel Kit

Modelers who enjoy building will appreciate the Preiser 31180, an HO scale (1:87) kit for a Mercedes-Benz LA 1924 fire brigade truck fitted with a Simon Snorkel articulated elevating platform. This aerial appliance uses a hinged, bucket-tipped boom to reach over obstacles for high-level rescue and firefighting, and the kit lets you assemble and finish an accurate, finely detailed model of this distinctive vehicle. Item 31180 is a rewarding project for the detail-minded builder.

Supplied as an unassembled kit in 1:87, the 31180 gives you the satisfaction of constructing the articulated platform and positioning the boom to suit your scene. Once complete, it stands proudly alongside Preiser's other emergency vehicles and figures, adding dramatic vertical reach to a fire-station diorama or incident on your HO layout.
