Pro PCTG-GF10, 10% Glass Fiber PCTG, Toolbox Red, 1.75mm

Pro PCTG-GF10 is 3D-Fuel Pro PCTG reinforced with 10% glass fiber, made in Fargo, North Dakota. You get the chemical resistance, heat resistance and PETG-style printing of Pro PCTG with higher stiffness, better dimensional stability and a matte surface that hides layer lines. 1.75 mm, 1 kg spools.

Best for

• Brackets, mounts, jigs and fixtures that must stay stiff under load
• Large flat parts where warping and sag matter
• Parts that need a matte, professional finish straight off the printer
• Garage, shop and outdoor use: the same chemical and UV resistance as Pro PCTG

Not the right choice for

• Printers with a brass nozzle. Glass fiber is abrasive; use a hardened steel nozzle, 0.4 mm or larger
• Living hinges and snap-fits that flex repeatedly. Unfilled Pro PCTG is the tougher, more ductile choice
• Transparent or glossy parts

Print Settings

• Nozzle: Hardened steel, 0.4 mm or larger
• Nozzle Temperature: 260C
• Bed Temperature: 65-70C on textured PEI. At 80C it sticks too well and can damage the sheet
• Part Cooling: Lower than unfilled Pro PCTG
• Max Volumetric Speed: 6-8 mm³/s on a 0.4 mm nozzle
• Pressure Advance: Calibrate for GF10. The fibers change the value; do not reuse the Pro PCTG or PETG number
• Profiles: Start from the Pro PCTG profile for your printer and apply the settings above. Dedicated GF10 profiles are in progress
• Drying: 70C for 6-8 hours. Fiber-filled filament takes on moisture faster than unfilled Pro PCTG; dry before the first print and store with desiccant
• Enclosure: Not required

Color: Toolbox Red. Matte, layer-hiding finish from the glass fiber. Opaque.
