Kingpin bushings sit between the steering block and the front suspension arm, giving the kingpin a smooth, low-friction bearing surface to pivot on. Because they carry steering loads on every corner entry, they wear over time, and worn bushings introduce slop that shows up as vague on-center feel and inconsistent steering response.

These bushings are a direct replacement for the ones used in the front steering assemblies of the Team Associated TC7, TC7.1, and TC7.2 touring cars. They drop into the standard steering block and arm locations with the stock kingpins and hardware, so there is nothing to modify and no setup change required.

Replacing kingpin bushings is one of the cheapest and fastest ways to tighten up a front end that has picked up play after a season of running. Fresh bushings restore a free-moving steering assembly with no binding and no unwanted movement, which translates directly into sharper turn-in and steering that feels the same from the first lap of a heat to the last.
