Team Associated ASC71170 RC10T6.4 Side Rails

The Team Associated ASC71170 Side Rails are the replacement chassis side rails for the RC10T6.4 stadium truck. The rails run along both edges of the chassis plate and locate the battery and electronics in the center of the truck, keeping them from shifting under cornering load or on landings. They also add stiffness to the chassis and shield the sides of the plate from rocks and other track debris.

Because the rails tie into the chassis along their full length, they influence how much the plate flexes, which in turn affects how the truck puts power down on a low-grip surface and how it absorbs an awkward landing.
