Traxxas 5975A SCT Split-Spoke Tire Wheel Assembly

The Traxxas 5975A is a pair of fully assembled, pre-glued tire and wheel units for the Slayer Pro 4X4. Each unit pairs an SCT Split-Spoke beadlock-style wheel with a licensed BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 tire and a foam insert, mounted and glued at the factory.

The KM2 is a scale replica of the full-size BFGoodrich light-truck tire, with the aggressive staggered lugs and reinforced sidewall shoulder of the original. That tread pattern bites well in loose dirt, gravel and mud while still holding a line on hardpack, which makes it a sensible all-around choice for a short course truck that sees mixed surfaces rather than a prepped race track.

The wheels use a dual-profile design, 2.2 inches at the outer bead and 3.0 inches inside, which is the short course standard and gives the tire its wide contact patch. The beadlock-style ring is a molded cosmetic feature, so no beadlock hardware or assembly is required.

Because they arrive glued with inserts installed, these mount straight to the hex and run. This is a direct replacement for worn stock rubber and an easy way to keep a second set ready for changing conditions.
